TRANSPORTS
The country is well connected with Europe and some African countries.

The railway network is in good condition and connects all major cities and neighboring states.

The bus travel is less comfortable because of the many traffic jams and bad road conditions. Taxis and minibuses at fixed prices are widespread.

ROADS
The road network consists mainly of dirt tracks where there is asphalt so it is better to move to 4x4.

Most roads are passable during the rainy season.

Driving in the night is dangerous, especially outside the cities, because of poor roads, lack of enforcement of traffic and the presence of animals on the roadway.

TOURISM
Zambia is definitely a recommended destination for nature lovers because it offers an impressive landscape within which we can observe the flora and fauna characteristic of all Africa: just think that the elephant is a native of this country!

Suggestive are the Victoria Falls, ideal for walks in the woods.

Equally beautiful National Park Mosi-Oa-Tunya (the local language "smoke that thunders", named after the noise it makes when the Zambezi forms the falls) is definitely worth a visit.

CLIMATE
The climate of Zambia is tropical. Most of the area benefits from a relatively homogeneous climate, thanks to extended plateaus that characterize the terrain. Indeed between 900 and 1200 m during the dry season, from May to November, the climate is mild.

The temperature day / night varied only moderately in the presence of rain at night, between December and May. But only between June and August the temperature can go from 5 to 30 degrees Night of the day.

Also in the highlands, the relative humidity is very low, even during the rainy season.

The conditions are not the same in depressions at elevations below 500 meters. In these great valleys of the Luangwa in the east, west and south of the Zambezi from the Lake Kariba during the rainy season, the air can be very heavy, but during the dry season the weather is nice and close to watercourses is amassing all the creatures of the savannah.

LANGUAGE
English is the official language. There are about seventy local languages including Swahili, the Bemba, the tonga, the Nyanga.

RELIGION
The most followed religion is Christian, with minorities of other religions mainly animist.

The animism, as in almost all African countries, mixes and mingles with spirituality and devotions come from outside.
