Several  institutional meetings have been, to which Italian entrepreneurs participated. In the Republic of the Congo institutional meetings of particular importance, were with:

  • Dr. Gaston GAPO, Minister of Planning and Land management, which focused on the need to invest in infrastructure here, especially for the construction of roads, railways, airports, ports, highlighting the strengthening of communications by land, sea and air, represents the essential prerequisite for economic development of the country. The meeting was also attended by the Ambassador of Italy in Brazzaville, Dr. Angelo Travaglini.
  • Dr. Emile Mabonzo, Minister of Industrial Development and Promotion in the private sector, which has proposed a discussion of the key areas of investment, or extraction and processing of raw materials and petroleum, cement production, beer production, breeding and pisciculture, etc..

The involvement of institutional players was crucial to reliability and certainty to the Italian entrepreneurs who are still suffering the effects of negative information on the African continent and especially to ensure no risk to themselves.

Organization of workshop

The workshop was held in Brazzaville at Le Meridien during which Dr. Fabio Ottonello spoke, present in Africa for 15 years as an entrepreneur in tourist-hotel sector, catering and business services that was the spokesman of his experience and showed the presence of a coastal plain and a tropical climate that make the Republic of Congo the ideal place to host an elitist who is about to be fostered by policies of sustainability with a continuing shift from marketing to territorial tourism marketing .

Achieved results

Another achievement was the promotion and presentation of Italian companies participating in the mission to African institutions intervened and some local entrepreneurs, who have shown keen interest to enter into partnerships.
Moreover, Italian businessmen have expressed at the end of the mission, their appreciation for the excellent organization and especially for the quality of the meetings that have contributed not only to know, two economic and cultural realities that start to increasingly become more important for the global economy, but also to gain greater security in the possibility of considering the exploration of an area that always inspires fear and insecurity.
