Entrepreneurs were able to meet different personalities involved for years in sustainable development and the research for peace, including former UN Secretary Kofi Annan, European Commission President José Manuel Barroso, the Commissioner of development and 'Humanitarian Aid, Louis Michel, who expressed his great satisfaction to note the participation in the Forum of Development of private sector representatives, the undisputed evidence, in his opinion, of the support to the transfer of technology and skills, the  Hon.Luisa Morgantini, Vice President of the European Parliament, who invited Italian companies to use their expertise to help African companies to develop, for example in agriculture, the French Secretary of State responsible for Cooperation and Francophonie, Jean-Marie Bockel, and other European and African ministers and parliamentarians.

Organization workshop

The workshop was organized on November 9 at the Hotel Mundial in Lisbon. During this workshop has been made a series of bilateral meetings between companies participating in the mission and the others present at the forum, in which it was possible to discuss about the possibilities of trade, the  transfer of know-how and the productive investments in other countries. At the end of the workshop has been realized  a buffet with  tasting of typical Italian products.

Results

Another result was the promotion of Italian enterprises participating in the mission  to the companies of the rest of the world. In fact, they have attracted the interest of the press present at the African Forum and in particular the famous magazine "Jeune Afrique" magazine and "Les dépêches de Brazzaville" who interviewed some representatives of Italian companies as a spokesman for a new vision of the market and of trade.
In addition, the Forum represented for participants not only a great chance to meet new geographical realities, but also with ideas and beliefs for a sustainable development and also conjoint one, without which the commerce can not take significant steps.
