"When I'm not sure of the way to forward, I always choose the harder one, convinced that one can overcome the errors if you work with passion."

But as always, "never say never",in June of 2002 I received an appointment as Consul and (honorary citizenship by Congolese President Joseph Kabila. This recognition is yet another concrete proof of affection which nourishes all the people in me.

You decided to invest personally in the Democratic Republic of Congo, thus giving the opportunity to work with local staff.

Because I feel strongly the duty to contribute to others, not only material, which is the easiest, I mean promote all possible action to transfer the experience, know-how and create mechanisms to ignite new jobs. Life can not be an end in itself but must also be available to others.
The presence of a branch of my holdings in the capital Kinshasa, with Italian staff who permanently resides, has been productive and necessary. A strong co-ordination action has enabled effective and constructive measures to give employment to many locals a stable and durable.

What have you advised your employees before they left to work in the Congo?

After the meeting the basis for the DRC, I asked them before to be good professionals or managers, to keep all the moral values of good citizens, inviting them to cultivate those deeply human dignity and a sense of solidarity.

What does this magazine represent and what are its goals?

The edition of the newsletter and other activities that promote the consulate, must be seen as an act of love and gratitude towards Africa and especially the country I represent. My report, to continue the metaphor of love with this fascinating continent as tormented, will continue with efforts to uncover its many positive aspects also. This is a priority of the program work together to articulate and updated presence on the territory, able to respond with appropriate promotional tools to promote development. The speed of these processes must be accompanied by a phase of development that are intended to encourage institutions to grasp the extraordinary potential and opportunities in this area. My concern will check the accuracy of the information provided through this publication, in order that the correct  ones arrive to the interested people.both on political and economic and social aspects of the country.
