The promise expressed in his speech for the award of the mandate occurred January 26, 2001 was: restore peace and reunite the country break the diplomatic isolation of the DRC and to work towards national reconciliation and the improvement of social Congolese conditions.

This country, in the past isolated by the international community has gradually regained normalcy. The reunification of the country is now a reality and national reconciliation is moving. Thanks to the  commitment of the Ministry of Economy and Finance, was reached on inflation control and macroeconomic stability. The control of the Government by Parliament and the agreement reached by the Senate, are showing maturity and good will of a united people. Because it is only together that we can rebuild this great yeard, the Democratic Republic of Congo.
