Charity event for the Congo at the Marble Hall.

Monitored  health conditions,to  initiate a widespread campaign of preventive health care and to implement a training program of medical and paramedical personnel in Africa. These will be the main objectives of healthcare delivery that ten famous Italian doctors are preparing  for the DRC.

As announced in the previous issue of our magazine, once the intervention of doctors, will create a link that will give the Congolese a chance to perfect health in our country. To support the initiative sponsored by the Consulate, on 30 March at Marble Hall of the City of Salerno was held a charity event conducted by TV journalist Barbara Capponi sent the "Live Life" and the journalist Mario Trufelli former tenant of " Check Up."

Along with doctors and many local authorities were present representatives of Congolese institutions: the Director of the Ministry of Health Christian Bolamba and the wife of Minister of Public Works Jose Endundo Bononge, Madame BEDOLE which moved the guests present with his touching speech thanks.

After the screening of a film on the country. Barbara Capponi asked the Consul Cestari a comment about the evening. In thanking the guests for having accepted this invitation, the Consul said that the meeting falls within the framework of cooperation and exchange economic and commercial claims that the Consulate.
Promotional activities and information aimed at encouraging foreign investors to the African country are flanked solidarity initiatives like this. Many have wanted to support with financial contributions and not just the artist Peter List won 12 designs that are still selling at a price of 300 euros (for information 089 952 889).
The Provincial President Alfonso Andria stole some institutional objects and economic contribution. Also offers by President Antonio Pandolfi and  by the Board of Directors  of Federfarma Salerno, by the Rotari Nocera Inferiore in the person of President Luigi Langella, the Mayor of Fisciano Gaetano Sessa, by the  Bank Credem,by the President of Assindustria Salerno Andrea Prete and many other benefactors.

The evening ended with a performance of "New Jazz Orchestra University in Salerno, the Working Group on Early Music of Basilicata.
Even the tenor Ernesto Radano Salerno wanted to participate to the initiative,who  accompanied on piano by Maestro Guido Cataldo, sang "O Sole Mio."
