The government of Benin has allocated 35 million euros to complete the 77 km road Ndal-Nikki-Chicandou, the main artery along the Atlantic coast that connects the southern part of the country to Nigeria.

The stretch of road to be completed is part of the axis road which comes from Lagos to Togo and is one of the main trunks of the continental corridors.
