A new railway will join Mozambique,Zimbabwe and Botswana
Maputo, May 17, 2011 - The Mozambican Minister of Transport, Paulo Zucula, announced that his country, Zimbabwe and Botswana have signed a memorandum of understanding for the construction of a railway linking the three countries. It is also planned the realizof a "common" port in southern Mozambique. The works, costing in total about $ 7 billion, will begin in 2012 and in Zacula's vision, will be completed in ten years.
