The Central African Republic and Central Africa (Ködörösêse tî Bêafrîka) is a country in Central Africa. The capital is Bangui.

The Central African Republic is landlocked and borders in the north with Chad,in the east with Sudan,in the south with the Democratic Republic of the Congo and the Republic of Congo and in the west with Cameroon.
The territory of Central African Republic consists of a plateau on which isolated mountain ranges sit in the north-east and north-west.
The plateau separates the basin of Lake Chad in the north from that of the Congo River in the south.
The streams are numerous and during the rainy periods increase their capacity up to cause floodings.
