On Friday, March 25, 2011 at 17 at the conference  room  G.Sessa  of the municipality of Fisciano (Salerno), the Chamber of Commerce ItalAfrica Centrale - Unioncamere will  host  the meeting about


The excellences of Made in Italy take up the challenge of African markets :Edificio Italia .


To about 80 firms from Campania, Basilicata and Tuscany, ItalAfrica Centrale  will show  the opportunities for the internationalization of the activities  in the Democratic Republic of Congo (and in general in the 19 countries of sub-Saharan  zone on which the Chamber of Commerce has jurisdiction) by the new possibilities offered by
Edificio Italia, an elegant and ultra-modern 11-storey multifunctional complex which will house the excellences of Made in Italy in the heart of Kinshasa, capital of the Democratic Republic of  the Congo.

After the institutional greetings  of the mayor of  Fisciano att. Tommaso Amabile and the President of BCC of Fisciano Domenico Sessa,  will report  the eng. Laura Della Casa and the  eng. Raffaele Sessa (ItalAfrica Centrale Chamber of Commerce.

Highly awaited  the interventions of  dr. Gian Carlo Bretoni and of Dr. Enrico D'Angeli, representatives of SIMEST SpA, the holding of State accompanying and for support for companies in the path to the internationalization, with  which the Chamber of Commerce ItalAfrica Centrale has established a relationship of fruitful and systematic collaboration.

Professor Sergio Perongini (University of Salerno) will also speak.

Edificio Italia - Each of the 11 floors will have a floor area of ​​2.400 m2. The ground floor will be devoted to recreation area, well-being, dining, shopping. The first three floors will house more than 700 m2 and 3.000 m2 of shopping malls by presenting solutions of different sizes (55 ÷ 115 m2) with attached storage (30 to 50 m2) for the storage of goods. The fourth, fifth and sixth floors will be devoted to offices and apartments. For each floor it is provided the creation of No 6 apartments, ranging in size between 78 and 140 m2 and of no. 26 offices.

In total over the three floors there will be no 18 apartments and No 78 offices. The floors  seventh, eighth and ninth will be allocated entirely to the hotel. Each floor will house 52 rooms with a total of 156 rooms including 60 singles, 78 doubles and 18 suites, to which are added  those located on the tenth floor, equal to 31 for a total of 187 rooms. Each floor will have a panoramic room which will enjoy spectacular views of the city of Kinshasa and the city of Brazzaville, capital of the Republic of  the Congo. The tenth plan is designed to accommodate the rooms of “Hotel Italia” and at the same time, the restaurant area. Due to its excellent location in central Kinshasa, the 'Edificio Italia "will have a market of potential users and visitors of about  9 millions of  people. Also in this region, with enormous potential for development and economic growth, they are already working and investing  Italian and international groups operating in the sectora of agribusiness, automotive, petroleum, construction, and others.
