From 3 to 4% the royalties about gold extractions

The Parliament of Tanzania has launched a measure  about the activity of mining  which takes from 3 to 4 percent the percentage of royalties paid for the extraction of minerals, including gold has an important position and requires the State to a shared in sector projects.

Tanzania is the third largest producer of gold on the continent and also has reserves of uranium, nickel and coal. Only the export of gold has brought in Dar Es Salaam 1.076 billion dollars in 2009, against 932.4 million the previous year.

The Law  about mining newly launched also requires that the companies of  the sector are traded at the Exhibition of  Dar Es Salaam.
