Favorable Credit for SMEs

The Government of Tanzania has launched the second phase of a project which provides soft loans amounting to over 21 million for small and medium enterprises.

The Permanent Secretary of Ministry of Finance and Economic Affairs, Ramadhan Khijjah, explained that the program, supported by the African Development Bank (AfDB), "aims to link the credit to the ability of "doing business".

820.000 people will benefit from it , of which at least the 50 percent of women.
