Several institutional meetings have been, in which Italian entrepreneurs participated. In Rwanda have been met:

Also during the mission in Rwanda, Italian companies have participated to the First East African Investment Conference, organized by RIEPA (Government Agency for the Promotion of investment and exports), in collaboration with the Council of East African Affairs, the Secretariat East African and regional agencies of promotion of investments. The topics were the presentation are the opportunities for trade and investment in the East African Community highlighting the main areas that need investment like tourism, infrastructure, energy, finance, etc..

The involvement of institutional players was crucial to reliability and certainty to the Italian entrepreneurs who are still suffering the effects of negative information on the African continent and especially to ensure no risk to themselves. In addition to formal meetings, was organized a visit to some factories of local entrepreneurs, or the new abattoir in Kigali where it was met with the Director, Mr. John Nyombayre inyanga and the company that produces fruit juices, milk and water mineral where it was met with the Director, Mr. John Bosco Birungi. With both directors were then examined the possibility of partnership.

In conjunction with the First Conference on Investment was organized the workshop at the Kigali Serena Hotel. Of major importance was the intervention of the Deputy Director of RIEPA, Claire Akamanzi, who illustrated all the entrepreneurial, the economic and fiscal incentives provided for foreign investors who decide to work in Rwanda.

Another result was the promotion and presentation of Italian companies participating in the mission to Rwandan institutions intervened and some local entrepreneurs, who have shown interest to enter into partnerships. In fact, after tasting some Italian products such as dairy products from Campania, local businessmen have expressed their desire to enter into a partnership when for the import of some products or for the production  on site. Moreover, Italian businessmen have expressed at the end of the mission, their appreciation for the excellent organization and especially for the quality of the meetings that have contributed not only to know, two economic and cultural realities that start to increasingly become more important for the global economy, but also to gain greater security in the possibility of considering the exploration of an area that always inspires fear and insecurity.
