
Rwanda Investment and Export Promotion Agency (RIEPA) - the government agency to promote investment and exports, originally RIPA (Investment Promotion Agency) established in 1998 with a mission to increase investments in Rwanda, has acquired the new name in 2004 expanded its role in the promotion and facilitation of investment and exports.

- Management of visits investors in Rwanda.

- supply of application forms and processing of investment certificates;
- the access to land;
- environmental impact assessment procedures;
- to facilitate investors to acquire utilities including water, electricity and telephone;
- Criteria or awareness;
- Policy or advocacy;
- Aftercare Services;
- Register or value added tax (VAT);
- Clearance or tax;
- Tax Identification Number (TIN);
- Customs tax exemption or approval;
- Business License, registration of companies;
- notary services;
- immigration services;
- authorization to proceed - work permits;
- renewal of a work permit.
- Facilitation of business development and production for export:
- market surveys;
- Information on the requirements or export;
- to identify potential export markets.
